Dr. Alec Fedorov is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon dedicated to providing quality orthopedic care and surgical services to the Eugene and Springfield area.
Dr. Fedorov's mission is to improve his patients' quality of life utilizing the safest and most reliable orthopeadic methods available including reconstruction and replacement procedures for joints including hips, knees, and shoulders. Although many orthopedic conditions respond well to non-surgical treatment, when these approaches are not adequate, surgical options can greatly relieve pain, restore function, and allow the patient to once again enjoy activities which were previously painful.
Dr. Fedorov's comfortable style and patient-centered focus are an important part of his approach. He has found that by educating patients regarding orthopedic treatment options, both non-surgical and surgical, he is able to tailor the patient's treatment plan to each individual's needs and expectations. The result is high quality patient care. He treats all of his patients as he would treat his family members - with respect, empathy, and concern for their well-being.
Dr. Fedorov's objective is to minimize pain, restore function and mobility, and facilitate a return to his patients' normal lifestyle. The use and mobility of a hip joint, a knee, a shoulder, or other part of the body is often critical for a patient's quality of life. It is his philosophy that patients should actively participate in decisions regarding their own care in order to acheive the best surgical and non-surgical results.
The treatment of orthopedic conditions continues to evolve and improve rapidly including updated techniques for surgical repairs, recontruction, and joint replacements. New techniques and research have significantly improved patient care and outcomes, and Dr. Fedorov is committed to pursue continuing education opportunities in order to provide his patients with the safest and most technologically advanced techniques available.
